🎓 Eligibility Criteria
Paper I — Primary Level (Class I to V)
- Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed (as per NCTE Regulations 2002), OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + passed/appearing in 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
Paper II — Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)
- Graduation + passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed, OR
- At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation + Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks + B.Ed (as per NCTE Regulations), OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed, OR
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed, OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks + B.Ed (Special Education), OR
- Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks + 3-year integrated B.Ed–M.Ed.
Note: Any candidate holding a B.Ed recognised by NCTE is eligible to appear in CTET as per existing TET guidelines.

- Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in
- Read the full official notification carefully before applying.
- Collect all required documents — eligibility proof, ID proof, address details, and basic information.
- Keep scanned copies ready — passport photo, signature, ID proof, etc.
- Register and fill in all details in the online application form.
- Select your preferred exam city/centre — note that slots are limited, so apply early.
- Pay the applicable application fee via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.
- Review the preview carefully and verify all columns before final submission.
- Submit the form and take a printout of the final submitted application.
