🎓 CTET September 2026 Online Form — CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility Test

CBSE has officially released the CTET September 2026 notification. Eligible candidates for Paper I (Class I–V) and Paper II (Class VI–VIII) can apply online from 11 May to 10 June 2026. Exam city slots are limited — apply early!

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Paper I — Primary Level (Class I to V)

1. Senior Secondary (or equivalent) with at least 50% marks + passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed), OR
2. Senior Secondary with at least 45% marks + 2-year D.El.Ed (as per NCTE Regulations 2002), OR
3. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + passed/appearing in 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed), OR
4. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + passed/appearing in 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Paper II — Junior Level (Class VI to VIII)

1. Graduation + passed/appearing in final year of 2-year D.El.Ed, OR
2. At least 50% marks in Graduation or Post-Graduation + Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), OR
3. Graduation with at least 45% marks + B.Ed (as per NCTE Regulations), OR
4. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.El.Ed, OR
5. Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks + 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed, OR
6. Graduation with at least 50% marks + B.Ed (Special Education), OR
7. Post-Graduation with minimum 55% marks + 3-year integrated B.Ed–M.Ed.

Note: Any candidate holding a B.Ed recognised by NCTE is eligible to appear in CTET as per existing TET guidelines.

📥 How to Fill CTET September 2026 Online Form

1. Visit the official website: ctet.nic.in
2. Read the full official notification carefully before applying.
3. Collect all required documents — eligibility proof, ID proof, address details, and basic information.
4. Keep scanned copies ready — passport photo, signature, ID proof, etc.
5. Register and fill in all details in the online application form.
6. Select your preferred exam city/centre — note that slots are limited, so apply early.
7. Pay the applicable application fee via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or E-Challan.
8. Review the preview carefully and verify all columns before final submission.
9. Submit the form and take a printout of the final submitted application.
