🚂 AFCAT 02/2026 Notification — Indian Air Force Apply Online

The Indian Air Force has released the AFCAT 02/2026 notification for 379 vacancies across Flying, Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) branches. Eligible candidates can apply online at afcat.edcil.co.in before 19 June 2026.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (as on 01 July 2027):

• Flying Branch: 20–24 years (born 02 July 2003 to 01 July 2007)
• Ground Duty Branches: 20–26 years (born 02 July 2001 to 01 July 2007)

Flying Branch:

1. Minimum 50% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level
2. Graduation (minimum 3-year degree) in any discipline with minimum 60% marks OR
3. BE/B.Tech (4-year course) with minimum 60% marks OR
4. Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) / Aeronautical Society of India (Sections A & B) with minimum 60% marks

Ground Duty Technical — AE(L) & AE(M):

1. Minimum 50% marks each in Physics & Mathematics at 10+2 level
2. Minimum 4-year Engineering/Technology degree or integrated PG with minimum 60% marks OR
3. Cleared Sections A & B of AMIE / Aeronautical Society of India / IETE Graduate Membership with minimum 60% marks
4. Specific eligible disciplines as listed in the official notification (Page 3 & 5)

Ground Duty Non-Technical — Weapon Systems (WS):

1. Minimum 50% marks each in Maths & Physics at 10+2 level
2. Graduation (minimum 3-year degree) in any discipline with minimum 60% marks OR
3. BE/B.Tech (4-year course) with minimum 60% marks

Administration & Logistics:

1. Passed 10+2
2. Graduation (minimum 3-year degree) in any discipline with minimum 60% marks OR AMIE/Aeronautical Society of India Sections A & B with 60% marks

Accounts Branch:

1. Passed 10+2
2. B.Com (minimum 3-year), BBA/BMS/BBS (Finance specialisation), CA/CMA/CS/CFA, or B.Sc. (Finance specialisation) — all with 60% marks

Education Branch:

1. Passed 10+2
2. Post-Graduation with minimum 50% marks in any discipline AND Graduation with minimum 60% marks (including integrated PG courses)

Meteorology Branch:

1. Passed 10+2
2. B.Sc. with Physics & Mathematics with minimum 60% marks OR 4-year Engineering/Technology degree with minimum 60% marks (specific streams as per notification Page 7)

📥 How to Apply Online

1. Visit the official AFCAT portal: afcat.edcil.co.in
2. Click on "Apply Online" for AFCAT 02/2026
3. Register with a valid email ID and mobile number
4. Fill in the application form with personal, educational, and service details
5. Upload required documents (photograph, signature, etc.) as per specifications
6. Pay the application fee of ₹550/- via credit/debit card or net banking (NCC Special Entry candidates are exempt)
7. Submit the form and save/print the confirmation for future reference
8. Download the Admit Card after 04 August 2026 from the official portal
